Visa Information for Indonesia

Note: Visa is issued on arrival for Tourist & Business Categories. The below mentioned documents are required for the same:

  • Original passport with validity of 6 months

  • Photocopy of the passport's first and last page

  • Two latest passport-size photographs with red back ground

  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket

  • Documentary proof of Hotel Confirmation or Letter of Invitation

  • On arrival visa will be valid for 30 days.

  • Visa can be further extended for 1 (one) time for another 30 (thirty) days, but cannot be transferred to any other type of visa.

  • The Visa Fee will be US$ 25

Tourist Visa

Tourist visa can be issued on arrival, which will be valid for 30 day's stay. The visa fee payable is US $ 25. This visa can be extended 1 (one) time for another 30 days, but can't be transferred to any other kind of visa. The applicant is required to give documentary proof of hotel confirmation. However, the Embassy recommends that the visa be should be obtained in India itself.
 

  • Original passport with validity of at least 6 months from the date of application for the visa.

  • One duly filled visa form (the form can be photocopied back to back).

  • Two latest passport-size photographs with red back ground.

  • Applicant need to submit a covering letter enclosed with visa application form.

  • An authentic leave letter from the applicant"s company.

  • Once need to submit original birth certificate for the applicants, which are below 18 years.

  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket.

  • Onward visa for the next destination (if any).

  • Applicant need to submit the bank statements for past 3 months with the application form.

  • Documentary proof of hotel confirmation in Indonesia and proof of funds (USD 1000 must be endorsed on the passport).

  • Once issued, visa is valid for 90 days with a stay of maximum 60 days.

  • It is to be noted that the visa processing can take up to two working days from the date of submission (provided the documents are in order). Applicants should also note that Visas won't be issued on urgent basis.

Note:
 

  • Embassy has the right to issue only single entry visa. If Multiple entry visa is applied, then the applicant requires an approval from the Immigration Department Indonesia. The application should be attached with two photocopies of all requisite documents.

  • The Visa Fee should be paid in form of a Bank Draft, drawn in favor of "Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia", payable at New Delhi.
